The wall
What the wall metric measures, how it grows, and what it does not promise.
The wall is the cumulative SOL that graduated pools have compounded back into their own reserves. It is added by the Meteora DAMM v2 program on every swap. No bot, no claim, no BRICK server involved.
Mechanism
Graduated pools are created in DAMM v2 Compounding collect fee mode with compoundingFeeBps 5000. On every swap, after Meteora's protocol share is taken, the program adds 50% of the remaining LP fee into the pool reserves. BRICK and the creator cannot change it. Meteora operators hold an update_pool_fees instruction on DAMM v2 that can change pool fee settings, including the compounding share, so this is enforced by the protocol but governed by Meteora.
post_protocol_fee = swap_fee - protocol_share compounded = post_protocol_fee x 5000 / 10000 wall = sum of compounded over every swap since graduation
How it is measured
BRICK indexes DAMM v2 swap events of each graduated pool and sums the SOL side of the compounded amount. The wall page shows this cumulative figure separately from the pool's actual current SOL reserves, which are read from chain.
What the wall does not promise
The wall only counts up because it is a running total of contributions. Pool reserves, price and redeemable value are different things and can all fall. Sells take SOL out of the pool. Nothing on BRICK guarantees a price floor.
- Compounding adds part of each fee to the pool's reserves. It deepens the pool; it is not a buyback of the token.
- Because the LP is permanently locked, nobody can withdraw the liquidity, but traders can still sell into it.
- The wall is a fact about past swaps, verifiable from chain. It is not a forecast.
