Fee plans

Cure, Courses, Masons and Load bearing: what each plan does, how it is enforced and its limits.

A creator picks one fee plan before launch. The plan cannot be changed afterwards. Before signing, the launch form shows the exact schedule, every fee recipient and the fees BRICK does not control.

Same base on every plan

Meteora keeps 20% of every trading fee as its protocol fee. Graduated pools compound 50% of the rest into reserves. Those two rules hold on every plan.

Cure

The curve fee starts high and falls on a fixed clock, like mortar curing. It taxes snipers at the open, then gets cheap.

  • Method: Meteora DBC fee scheduler, linear or exponential, over N periods.
  • Range: start fee up to 50% in the BRICK form (the program allows up to 99%), down to a minimum of 0.25%.
  • After graduation the pool fee equals the final curve fee, kept within the pool range of 0.1% to 10%.
  • Enforcement: the curve schedule is onchain and immutable once launched. Each swap reads the elapsed time, so there is no keeper and no lag.

Courses

A flat curve fee, then after graduation a fee that steps down each time the price lays a new course.

  • Method: flat DBC curve fee, then the DAMM v2 market cap fee scheduler on the graduated pool.
  • Levels are price multiples of the migration price in SOL terms. Because supply is fixed, a price multiple equals a market cap multiple.
  • Each swap reads the live pool price, so a step applies atomically within the swap. If the price falls back, that level's higher fee applies again.
  • After the expiry the schedule ends for good and the final fee applies forever.
  • The final pool fee must be below the curve fee.
  • Enforcement: onchain. The curve part is immutable; the pool scheduler is set at migration and BRICK cannot change it.

Masons

A fixed fee where the creator takes a smaller onchain share, so a larger share of BRICK controlled proceeds goes to holders.

  • Method: fixed DBC curve fee and a fixed graduated pool fee.
  • The holder share is paid by the BRICK server from the BRICK fee wallet every 24 hours. This part is server managed, not enforced by a Solana program.

Load bearing

A base fee plus a surcharge that rises when price swings hard and decays when trading calms.

  • Method: Meteora DBC and DAMM v2 dynamic fee. A volatility accumulator tracks price movement between swaps, not raw volume.
  • The surcharge is capped onchain at 20% of the base fee. A 1% base fee can peak at 1.2%.
  • The creator picks the price swing at which the surcharge reaches its cap: 5%, 10% or 15%.
  • Enforcement: onchain, no keeper. Immutable on the curve; on the graduated pool Meteora operators hold a fee update instruction.

Default settings in the launch form

These are the starting values in the launch form, read from the same module the server uses to build the config. Creators can change them within the limits shown.

CureFee starts high and hardens down on a fixed clock
  • Curve fee starts at 20% when trading opens.
  • It falls fast at first, then slower across 168 steps over 7 days, then stays at 1%.
  • The schedule lives in the Meteora bonding curve config and cannot be changed by anyone after launch.
  • After graduation the pool fee is 1%.
CoursesFee steps down as the price lays new courses
  • Curve fee is 2% until graduation.
  • At graduation the pool fee starts at 1.5%.
  • It steps down across 10 price levels up to 20x the graduation price, reaching 0.50%.
  • Each swap reads the live pool price, so levels apply atomically. If the price falls back, the higher fee of that level applies again.
  • After 90 days the schedule expires for good and the fee stays at 0.50%.
MasonsBiggest share of fees goes to holders, paid by the BRICK server
  • Curve fee is fixed at 1.5%. After graduation the pool fee is 1.5%.
  • The creator takes a smaller onchain share, so more of each fee reaches the BRICK fee wallet.
  • The BRICK server pays the holders share in SOL every 24 hours by builder rank. This payout is run by the BRICK server, not by a Solana program.
Load bearingFee rises when price swings hard and eases when calm
  • Base curve fee is 1%.
  • When trades move the price fast, a volatility surcharge of up to 20% of the base fee applies, peaking at 1.2%. It reaches the cap at about a 10% price swing.
  • The surcharge decays as trading calms. The measure is the program's volatility accumulator, not raw volume.
  • After graduation the pool keeps a dynamic fee on a 1% base.

Form limits: curve fees from 0.25% to 50% (program max 99%); dynamic surcharge capped at 20% of the base fee.

Fees outside BRICK's control

  • Meteora's protocol share of every curve and pool fee.
  • Solana network and priority fees, paid by whoever sends a transaction.
  • Meteora operators hold a fee update instruction on DAMM v2 pools. BRICK and the creator cannot change a graduated pool's fee.
